Billing & Refunds

Last updated: July 18, 2026

The short version: your membership renews automatically until you cancel, cancelling takes one click and no explanation, and if Luvante is not for you, tell us within 7 days of your first payment and we refund it in full.

1. What you are charged

You pay the price shown at checkout, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies where you are. Nothing else. We do not charge setup fees, cancellation fees, or fees for watching more.

Free accounts are free. We never ask for a card to open one, and we never charge one without you choosing a paid plan first.

2. Automatic renewal

Paid memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly for monthly plans, annually for annual plans — until you cancel. Each renewal charges the payment method on file at the then-current price for your plan.

If we ever change the price of your plan, we email you before it takes effect, with time to cancel first.

3. How to cancel

Open your account page and cancel there. It takes one click, works at any hour, and you do not have to explain yourself, call anyone, or answer a retention offer.

Cancelling stops future charges. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you already paid for — you keep watching until then — and after that your account continues to exist as a free account.

4. 7-day money-back on your first payment

If you subscribe and decide within 7 days of your first payment that Luvante is not for you, email [email protected] and we refund that payment in full. No questions, no forms.

This applies to your first payment on an account. It is a guarantee we offer voluntarily, on top of whatever rights the law already gives you.

5. Renewals after that

Renewal charges are generally not refundable, because cancelling before a renewal is instant, free and entirely in your hands.

That said, we are not looking to keep money from someone who did not mean to spend it. If a renewal caught you by surprise — you forgot, you had not watched anything, a shared card was charged — write to us. We read every message and we would rather refund you than argue with you.

Where the law where you live gives you a stronger right of withdrawal or refund, that law wins over this section.

6. How refunds reach you

Refunds go back through Stripe to the original payment method. We issue them within 5 business days of approving the request; your bank or card issuer then takes its own time, usually a few days and sometimes a full statement cycle.

We cannot refund to a different card or account than the one that paid.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal fails, we may retry it over the following days and will email you. While payment is outstanding we may pause access to member content. Your account, your list and your watch history are not deleted — they are waiting for you when payment succeeds.

8. Before you dispute a charge

If you see a Luvante charge you do not recognize, please email us first. A chargeback takes weeks and usually ends with your account closed; an email to [email protected] usually ends the same day, with your money back if that is the right outcome.

9. Quiz purchases are separate

Our quiz reports are a one-time purchase with their own terms and their own refund guarantee — see Quiz Refund Policy. Buying a report never starts a subscription, and a membership never charges you for reports.

10. Contact

Billing questions go to [email protected]. Include the email on your account so we can find the payment quickly. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
